Our glass furnace here at Snake Oil Glassworks is once again up and running and we have started making things for the store. The furnace had been off since late June while Lorraine recovered from a much needed knee replacement. She is now back at the bench and getting up to speed for the upcoming holiday season.

Due to the late start of the fall season here at Snake Oil Glassworks, Our annual pumpkin making event will come a bit later in the month. We’ll actually be doing it on the big day itself! Halloween day and the day after the hot shop will be open for you to come and watch us make out coveted glass pumpkins. We’ll have put out some treats for you to snack on and you be able to watch our hot shop crew demonstrate the tricks of glass pumpkin blowing!

The event is at our studio at 4251 Jordan Road, just two miles north of Skaneateles Village. Should the parking lot be full, you may park across the rod at the church.

Our annual pumpkin event will come a little bit late than usual this year!
